It is still not clear who checked a wanted Canadian fugitive into a B.C. motel days before his death, though the agent for a Calgary model says it wasn't her client.
Ryan Jenkins, wanted on both sides of the border for the alleged murder of his ex-wife — former swimsuit model Jasmine Fiore — was found dead in his motel room in Hope, B.C., about 100 kilometres northeast of Vancouver.
A motel manager found the 32-year-old Calgary man's lifeless body hanging from a coat rack on Sunday and the preliminary results of a Monday autopsy suggest that Jenkins took his own life.
