Israeli Settlers To Step Up Heat On Netanyahu

Settler leaders plan to step up their fight against a planned freeze of construction in West Bank settlements, including a sit-down protest in front of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's home later this month.

The settlers plan to hold the demonstration before Netanyahu heads to New York for a United Nations General Assembly meeting, during which he will apparently meet with U.S. President Barack Obama.

Obama has exerted tremendous pressure on the prime minister to agree to a settlement freeze, which the Palestinians say is a precondition to a renewal of peace talks.
