JERUSALEM - Israel executes national terrorism, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas charged at the opening of an economic conference in Beersheba on Wednesday.
Abbas called for the UN Security Council to protect the Palestinians and end the blockade on Gaza.
He also requested that the Security Council form an international investigation on the blockade as well as Monday's flotilla raid.
According to Abbas, the Palestinian people are encountering daily occurrences of Israeli terror.
"We are talking about murder, barricades, expulsion, occupation and blockades," he said.
In addition, Israel Radio reported Abbas as saying: "The innocent blood spilled will not have been in vain."
