British Prime Minister David Cameron’s visit to China this week visit seemed to be a mission to patch up UK-China relations, which have been rocky since Cameron’s meeting in May of 2012 with Tibet’s leader-in-exile, the Dalai Lama. But it also revealed Britain’s desperation, with Cameron pleading for China to invest more cash in the UK economy.
